This term, our Grade 1/2 students have been exploring the topic Through the Generations in Integrated Studies. We have been looking at how technology has changed over time and the impact it has had on people’s lives at home, at work, in travel, and in communication. Students have developed their own inquiry questions and enjoyed discovering how toys have evolved over the years.

In Maths, we are learning to tell the time and exploring fractions. In Writing, we’ve been focusing on persuasive texts. Students wrote a text arguing that All kids should play sport. We also had a visit from a representative from Dolly’s Dream, where students took part in a workshop about the importance of kindness and how we can all help create a safer, more supportive environment for everyone.
