We have had a wonderful start to the term in the 1/2 area!

In Integrated Studies we are learning all about change, with a big focus on Science! We began the Unit by creating our own erupting volcano and observing the reaction. We can’t wait to conduct more exciting experiments throughout the term.

Here are some of our ideas about what science is:

“Studying the world and animals” - Zeb

“Imagining and creating” - Eden

“Adventuring in your mind” - Patrick

“Messy and interesting” - Ruby

We have also started learning about Narratives in Writing. This week we read the story of The Gruffalo. We listened to the adjectives used to describe him and drew a picture to match.

We are looking forward to another productive and happy Term!
